Before the sun set, a grey form shot across the landscape, almost trying to race against the inevitable setting. White saliva flew from his mouth as he breathed heavily from the intensive traveling he had accomplished in a short time. In a way, he was happy, for he had gotten what he wanted in the claiming grounds, and far faster as he had thought.
However, he hated himself, her beauty had over whelmed him so much, that he stood there admring like some drooling fool. He hoped to the deepest depths of his heart that he had made it in time. He had not looked back once to see if the young mare had follwed him, and did not know if she had made it, or if she was still following in his footsteps. Every ounce of his body knew she had though, and he galloped on with miraculous speed.
Soon, he reached his familiar abode, a small natural nook that had been carved into the mid mountain cliffs. Around the den was a collection of rocks, made to almost make large walls around the place, with only an opening in one spot. And in one small corner, lay a small ovrhang, the place where he spent his mornings in deep sleep. As he got there, the immense work from the day beat down on him, and he fell to the ground with a neigh of protest, and lay there, breathing heavily in exhaustion.

She followed him quickly, a small lather of sweat forming on her bod'. She watched him run into a hole in the rock and followed him in slowly. Pools scanned the interior of the cave, so this would be her new home? She watched him collapse and pools widened. She sank onto the floor beside him and nudged him with her maw. What's wrong? she asked starting to get a bit worried. Harks swiveled slightly at the different unknown sounds out side of the cave. She whimpered not knowing what was happening. She put her body next to his and pushed herself against him trying to keep him warm.

Air snorted out of his nostrils, small dust devils forming, bringing up dust as the danced from him. As he felt the soft touch and warmth of the marea gainst him, he quickly rocked to his knees, upright. This was not the sort of impression he wanted to show this young mare, he was not weak, yet he was showing it at this moment. THis small stance, was unfortunately all he could muster. He was so incredible tired, that he could barely move, let alone get to his feet. However, a small amount of joy crept threw his pained body. He now had a young female he could call his own, and most importantly, he knew if he had trouble standing, then so would his other side, all he had to do was stay awake.
"I am fine, do not be worried about my saftey my dear, I'm just..."
But befor he could finish his sentance, he layed back down again. His eyes battered frivilantly as he desperately tried to keep awake, but he knew it was a losing battle. His body could not stand running at his top speed for that long. It was a risk at most, and he knew it wouldn't be long till his body burnt out. And after a while, his eyes closed and he fell into a deep sleep.

Shhh. She whispered trying to calm him down, she wondered what was wrong. She crawled over to him and flopped at his side again trying to kepp him warm. Her orbs fluttered closed slowly as she fell asleep. Harks flopping to their beds. The moon shone into the cave casting a deathly glow onto their pelts. Her dial rested on his boa as she slept, breaths coming from her crescents sending her tresses into a wild little dance before they flew back down with an inward breath. They carried on with their dance until she turned over in her sleep, her dial landing on the stone with a thump.

Keres woke up, though changed as he always was at this time. As the moon shined in, it reflected against his pelt, giving him almost a ghostly and grim atmoshere. Snorting he rocked his immense body, knocking back pebbles underneath him as his torso rose from the ground. Though he had difficulty doing it, and it angered him so. In a fit of fury, he pawed at the wall with a hoof, making a loud grinding sound as it cracked a large chunk from the ebony walls. He was exhauseted, what had his light side been doing? Now he was far to tired to journey out. Furious he reared up his hind legs, blindly batting his hooves at an unknown enemy, and screaming a loud cry of annoyance and anger. As he reached the ground, he looked down at the ground in utter shame.
That's when he saw it... Something on the ground. As he looked down, he saw beautiful grey tresses, made a silvery sheen as the beas of the moon cast upon them. He pawed at it, it was a mane. His dark eyes narrowed on it, and soon followed it to a soucre. A female, but he had never seen her before. A torrent of hot air came from his nose as he looked in disgust at her purity of light. Leaning his head down, he nudged her back, soon the nudge became a violent crack as he rammed his snout into her back.
"Wake up mare, who the hell are you to encroach into my abode?!"
